Chapter 102: Lyanna

I was going to seduce Mr. Landon–Orlando.

Ever since that first time I helped him learn about female human anatomy, he seemed afraid of me for some reason.

Maybe he really did think my garden was overgrown…

“I don’t know what to do, Dru,” I said. “Everything was going so well…”

“Me and Sunflower did gross stuff finally,” she said. “And he asked me to marry him, I guess.”

Despite her casual words, I could tell she was excited.

I was happy for my twin, I really was, and yet… I was so jealous. I never would’ve thought Dru would get engaged and do “gross stuff” before me…

“Congratulations,” I said after she elaborated in explicit detail. I hoped I sounded as excited as I should be–Dru deserved all the happiness in the world. “But how’d you get him to do it? The gross stuff…”

A proposal would follow any gross stuff, hopefully.

“I dunno, I guess I was almost-naked around him a lot and he couldn’t take it anymore once he got his wings back.”

I could be almost-naked around Orlando too…

“…I’ll take your hairy mongrel for a walk,” he muttered.

It was really nice of him to help Primrose get some exercise. She seemed a little sad after Batty left–and so did one of her pups, who howled all the time now.

But that didn’t help me with Operation: Chase the Weasel.

Men liked when women cooked for them, didn’t they? I wasn’t the greatest cook, but hopefully Orlando wouldn’t notice…

But he wouldn’t even look at me. “I’ll go–water the plants…”

I knew Orlando was passionate about lawn maintenance, but I wanted him to be more passionate about me.

He’d still sleep over sometimes, but that’s all we did together…sleep. Whenever I tried to grab his weasel, he’d turn around or get up to go to the bathroom…

But one morning, I cornered him.

“…Weasel.”

“Yes?” I could forgive him calling me that, just this once, since I knew it meant he was flustered.

“…Where are your frilly human underthings?”

“I took them off. Do you hate it?”

“Hate your…bare petals?”

“…You won’t even touch me there anymore. And you always run away when I take off too much clothing… Am I ugly, compared to a fae?”

“Of course you are,” he muttered. “You’re a human; a human’s beauty pales beside a fae’s.”

My eyes stung.

“Don’t cry, my little fool,” he said. “I merely…don’t wish to hurt you.”

Hurt me?”

He coughed. “According to my research, a human female’s first time is a rather messy, painful affair.”

“Oh.” I wanted to laugh–and cry, but for a different reason from before. “You don’t have to worry about that with me, Orlando…”

He freed himself from my leg-prison, turning on me like a wild animal. “And why is that, weasel?”

How could I explain to him that I’d repeatedly used the contents of Grandma Cor’s gift basket–before I burned out all the motors–and wouldn’t feel any pain with him…?

“A female human doesn’t experience any discomfort once she’s married,” I blurted. Two butterflies, one stone…?

“I see,” he said. “Marriage is a foreign concept to the fae, with the rare exception of kings and queens. We have no need for it.”

My heart sank. “Oh…”

He studied my face. “This would…make the mating ritual pleasant for you?”

“It would,” I said quickly. That, at least, was the complete truth.

“Then I shall conduct more research on this ‘marriage’ business.”

“You’re very kind.”

“Don’t be ridiculous,” he said. “I’m fae.”

But there wasn’t anyone I wanted more.

“I need you to ask Sunflower to send images of my first-choice engagement ring to Orlando in a dream,” I told Dru. “It’s enamel, so it shouldn’t hurt him.”

“Sure,” Dru said. “Then we could have a double wedding or whatever. Since we’re twins, I guess.”

I never thought I’d hear my own sister so excited for a wedding–especially her own. “I’d love that, Dru.”

“Sunflower says we can have a special ceremony in the fae world,” she said. “He can make it safe for us, for just one night. And then we can have a normal wedding with Mom and Dad and the raccoons and everybody else afterwards.”

When Orlando proposed a few days later, I did my best to pretend to be surprised, especially since he seemed so proud of himself… And his proposal wasn’t so much asking that I marry him as it was demanding.

“That is,” he said, “if you wouldn’t prefer to marry a king…”

“You’re the only one for me, Orlando,” I murmured. “I knew ever since I was a little girl.”

“I remember,” he said dryly. “Terrorizing me with your threats of marriage…” He kissed my hand.

I was too smitten to notice him slipping my dream ring on my finger–the wrong finger, but I could forgive him. He was fae, and some human men might have some trouble too…

“I highly doubt Darius could take very good care of you regardless,” he said. “He’s easily distracted and prone to disaster on his own.”

“Then I’m glad I have you instead.”

“As you ought to be.” His lips brushed against my forehead.

And then came the night of the Blackwell sisters’ wedding.

“I look stupid,” Dru said. “The stupidest.”

“Pretty,” I corrected her, adjusting the delicate sash at her waist. “The prettiest.”

Dru repaid me by picking a stray flower petal out of my hair. “I dunno why I had to wear a dress.”

“I picked out one that has good mobility for punching,” I said. “Just in case.”

She probably would’ve argued with me more, if it weren’t for the arrival of our bridegrooms.

Orlando’s hands flew to his mouth when he saw me. “You’re as beautiful as a fae,” he said, his words muffled.

“I’m glad you think so.”

This all felt like a dream…I had to touch him, just to make sure it was real.

“I always thought you were the most beautiful man I’d ever seen,” I said. “I’m so glad I get to marry you like this…” His true form was almost too beautiful to look at directly, but I couldn’t tear my gaze away either.

But we only had one night like this.

Together, the four of us ascended the marble steps…

A strange winged man awaited us at the top. “Does the king of the fae wish to marry his queen–and the duke his duchess?”

“We do,” said the king and duke.

Orlando and I went first.

“There isn’t any turning back now,” he said, slipping a ring of woven clovers over my finger. “Once mine, always mine. Will you accept my love, Lyanna?”

“I will.”

I wanted him to promise me the use of his weasel along with his love, but I settled for just the latter.

And then we kissed…

“Gross,” Dru said. “We’re up next, I guess.”

But Orlando spirited me away before we could watch…

I slung my arms around his neck. “Where are you taking me?”

“A place that suits you,” he said, “and this night.”

My dress got caught on a tree somewhere along the way, so by the time we made it there, I was only wearing a sheer slip…

I yawned and closed my eyes. “I’m sleepy…”

“…Too sleepy for a human wedding night mating ritual?”

I stifled a giggle. “Never.”

He brought me inside the most beautiful bedroom I’d ever seen. Almost everything was my favorite color pink.

“It suits you, does it not?”

But he didn’t let me answer before he stripped himself of his fancy coat–and pushed me down on the bed.

“You’re my wife,” he said between kisses, as though the word felt strange on his tongue. “Mine.”

“I am.”

His lips moved against my neck like the feathery edges of a butterfly’s wing. “Then I suppose I shall do my best to please you.”

After all my failed attempts at seduction…after years of pining for him, thinking my love was unrequited…I never expected him to take over like this.

Why did I suddenly feel so shy? This was the night I’d dreamed of for so long… I’d made scrapbooks as a child and Pinterest boards as an adult dedicated to my wedding, and Grandma Cor’s seventh replacement gift basket had helped me with thoughts of my wedding night…

“I never expected a human to taste of anything but dirt and idiocy,” he said. “You’re quite the pleasant surprise…”

“Orlando.”

“Hm?”

“Are you sure you can love me?” I whispered. “Even though I’m a human? There are so many ways I’ll never be like you–or any other fae…”

He looked at me–and laughed. At my wounded expression, he stroked my cheek. “Ridiculous creature,” he said. “I love you precisely because you aren’t fae. No fae would be so generous and ask for nothing in return–or offer so much love without a drop of cruelty.”

He really did kiss my forehead a lot. I hoped he remembered I was a woman now…

Apparently he did–because our remaining clothing didn’t stay on for long…

“Is this what humans call an ‘erogenous zone’?” Someone had obviously swiped one of the ladies’ magazines from Mom’s bathroom before we’d left Fangs Island.

“Oh,” I said. “It might be…”

His lips grazed the inside of my wrist. “And this?”

He spent a lot of time determining what was and wasn’t an “erogenous zone”–and apparently came to the conclusion that my entire body was…

But he seemed a little bit insulted when his touch made me giggle sometimes. I couldn’t help being so ticklish–or maybe it was nervous laughter.

But my nervousness soon melted away…and Operation: Chase the Weasel was an resounding success.

I liked his weasel very much…

I couldn’t believe he was mine. My husband, Orlando.

I was struck by an urge to paint. It had been so long since I felt real inspiration, but now my mind was filled with lilac skin and iridescent wings. I wished I could capture my husband’s beauty–or at least the beauty of this night.

But I was only human…

But tonight, that was enough.

    AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Hot fae men with long flowing hair, My ship getting MARRIED, and passionate weasel sex at last?! 😱😱😱

    I’m calm, I swear.

    Okay, maybe I’m not.

I’ll try and comment more coherently later after I’ve read this one about 12 more times 😁

    1. Okay, let me try this again haha. I’m still reeling from all the excitement and adorable romance and hot sex so I’m basically gonna throw this out there in a random list of thoughts 😂

      – I felt kind of bad seeing Lyanna jealous of Dru 😦 But I had to give her credit for her “oh it won’t hurt if we get married” tactic 😂

      – Orlando is simply the best ❤️ He hides behind being Mr. Grumpypants all the time, but it’s just so sweet to see how much he loves Lyanna. Poor dude put up with blue balls for so long, thinking it was for her sake 😂❤️

      – I loved the wedding! Ahhhh! But it also gave me some heart palpitations 😂 They all looked so amazing (and omg I loved the marching bouquets with their men’s hair 😂)

      – ahhhh the sex ❤️❤️❤️ Lyanna’s always been so confident in that area so it was kind of sweet to see her getting a little nervous ❤️

      – Not sure I’ll recover from how sweet and sexy fae-Orlando was during that sex scene 😍 and so passionate too, of course 😉

It’s so sad to think that their time together will be so brief (from Orlando’s perspective, at least). But I think Lyanna has permanently changed him for the better and that’s something he can always carry with him 😭❤️

(I MAKE NO APOLOGIES FOR MY SAPPINESS! This ship DOES things to me, okay? 😭)

      1. Oh and on a less serious note, I freaking loved the “can you have Darius show Orlando the ring I want in a dream?” 😂 Forgot to mention how much I loved that part haha

      2. LOL, love the organized bullet points! 😉

Alas, jealousy is a human emotion, and Lyanna is very much a human. Happens to the best of us sometimes.

Orlando’s glad to say farewell to those blue balls though, that’s for sure. But Lyanna’s bouquet matching them was nice. 😉

I’m glad you enjoyed the last Lyanna chapter so much!! Their romance will have its issues, even if he whisks her away to the fae realm–but like you said, it’s changed him for the better.

  2. Ahh, weddings, my least favorite thing to shoot in simlit–tied with funerals. 😉

And you’re right, half the reason I chose a fae wedding was so I could have ZERO GUESTS. It was hard enough wrangling everyone into position for a double wedding, LOL.

Sorry it couldn’t compare to the gay cat wedding. 😉 And I went all-out on a future wedding that I’m still recovering from…

  3. Wow. Breathtaking! Loved that fairy wedding venue! And the convenient bedroom. 😏 for…gross stuff. 😂

And the girls were such beautiful brides with their matching bouquets that went perfectly with their groom’s skin!

Everything was fae perfection! Orlando’s saltiness turned dominant lover was mmmm…😍😍😍

Sunflower’s look whenever Lyanna would call was hysterical! He was definitely on cloud nine with his babe.

Orlando’s skin is so gorgeous. I love looking at it. Operation Chase the Weasle complete! Now bring on the gorgeous nooboos. I’m going to call it now—all nooboos will be beautiful but these children will have a special beauty. Their parents are some of the prettiest in simlit !

Now to read this 5 more times! 😍

    1. ❤ ❤ Thank you so much for your help in securing that venue for me. ❤ It was absolutely perfect!

I agonized over which Sunflower to have Dru marry in-game–the fae one or the human one. Oh, how I wish fairies were a thing and that they had something like disguises/dark forms. In the end, I settled on fae Sunflower.

Sunflower’s shit-eating grin cracked me up too. He looked so happy, LOL.

You’ll actually get to see almost all of the nooboos before this gen is over!

    2. Lyanna scheming was great. When I saw the picture of her wearing that apron with nothing on underneath it cracked me up.

But that wedding…..Ohhh… it was beautiful. I am so glad they did it in their fae form….Dru was gorgeous and those butterflies in her hair had me going ahhhhh…..so perfect. Dru is quite pretty. And the bouquets that matched the men’s hair.

But of course the best part was how sweet Orlando was ….and no lobster thermidor! Just very nicely crafted beautiful love making. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I loved it what Orlando told her when she asked if he could love her since she wasn’t fae. It was perfect.

      1. ❤ ❤ Lyanna never got enough credit as a kid–she found reasons to get Orlando to carry her around and probably wasn't as clumsy as she appeared. 😈

I spent so much time wading through my 800 wedding dresses and assorted accessories, rofl. "What would Lyanna wear? What would Dru wear? Aaaaa.” Glad you think it was worth it. ❤

Ha, no lobster thermidor this time around. 😉 Depends on the mood of the scene and I think certain people would've killed me if I pulled the same shit with Lyanna that I did with Dru, LOL. *hides*

  4. HELL YES; I loved seeing Lyanna being a bit of a brat! LOL
Lying to trick your man into marrying you?
Being jealous of your sister’s engagement and boom boom? 😮
    LYANNA!
    Kekekekekeke
I guess she’s not used to not getting her way, but she’s sweet, and not malicious, so she gets a pass 😉

Loved Orlando’s bald-faced honesty, snark, and naivete (dat ass could be rounder tho Orly, just sayin’!)

The wedding in the Fae Realm was SOOOOOOO pretty; okay, I’m not a huge sucker for weddings, you know dis, but, omg, they looked so very pretty and it gave me all the sister feels ❤ ❤ ❤
Also, those boi bois were YES all tricked out in Faeness 10/10, Lisa did swoon a bit (mebbe, shh).

And bless Lyanna; did she not look THE CONTENTEST while stuffed full of weasel? She did. ❤

    1. Bratty Lyanna was fun, LOL. Using some very fae deception on her own fae man. 😉 And damn, she’d been waiting for so long, and then Dru of all people beats her to the punch. (No pun intended?) It’s true that she’s used to getting her way and being the “star,” LOL.

Don’t worry too much about Orlando’s flat ass–Lyanna inherited Penny’s, so their kids should be set. ROFL. (Hmm, maybe I should do a butt check, actually…)

I’m not big on weddings either (IRL or in simlit), so I know how you feel. ❤ But I still loved that these twin sisters got to have a double wedding. My babies!

      Lyanna enjoyed that weasel. 😉

Lover WitcHazard: You truly out did yourself with this wedding venue it’s divine! It’s feels so long ago when Dru had a weird obsession with her sister now it’s moved on to better things! And Lyanna finally getting with the love of pretty much her entire life up til this point! They looked so beautiful and the grooms looked handsome! I’m so happy!

Shipper WitcHazard: Two ships locked down in one chapter I love it! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭!

Dark WitcHazard: 🤮🤮🤮🤮 So much cuteness you’re teying to kill me!👿

    1. Nooboos incoming! 😉

Dru’s in a much, much better place than she was at the beginning of the story–she’d rather turn her attention to Sunflower and gross stuff. ❤ Glad Lover and Shipper approve!

Sorry, Dark~ I think you'll like the next chapter better. 😈

  6. Wow, I am so ridiculously happy for Lyanna! Of course, Dru deserved that super beautiful wedding as much as her sister, but I guess Lyanna had to wait for this very moment far longer – after all, she has dreamed about marrying Mr. Landon ever since she was a child. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this wonderful story! 🙂

    1. ❤ ❤ Dru isn't a wedding type of girl, whereas Lyanna totally is–of course, Dru had fun too. But you're right, Lyanna has been longing for this for years.

Thank you so much for your sweet words! You really made me smile. ❤

  7. Lyanna went through seven gift baskets?!?! Hot damn, girl! She DEFINITELY needed a real-life weasel to help her scratch the itch Gramma Cor’s baskets can’t satisfy!

Seriously though, I had the best time reading this chapter. I adored the double wedding; I found the shot with Lyanna fixing Dru’s sash to be so so endearing and symbolic. Dru was always so protective and worried about Lyanna, and to me that screenshot showed that Lya was taking care of her sister and that the two of them will always be favorites, even if they are going their separate ways.

And the gross stuff!! It was so tasteful and sweet. And hot. Let’s not forget hot.

“You’re my wife,” he said between kisses, as though the word felt strange on his tongue. “Mine.”

Squish squish! I love me a man who takes ownership when it matters, so heavens to all the Betsys, that line got me all wide-eyed and panting. *Wipes sweat off brow*

For as much as you hate wedding planning, you have a knack for it, Lobs! Keep it coming!

    1. Hey, she’s been waiting for Orlando for a long time! A girl’s got needs, and she had to take matters into her own hands. So to speak~

Like we’ve talked about before, sisters are a bit foreign to me, and Dru and Lyanna were my first-ever Fangs sister pair. So I’m glad you approve of their sisterly bond. 😉 (…Do I even have sisters next gen? DAMN, lolol–it’s all brothers and boy-girl pairs again…)

Glad you liked the gross stuff too. 😉 And Orlando getting down to business, LOL.

And thank you! As much as I complain about weddings (and everything, really), I do feel like it’s worth it, especially on days like this~
